Well we have the media and entertainment section however, could we not add onto it "news".

I think some users are mistaking the fact that you can have news related topics in that section. As if you look at "general" section there is a thread about the Colorado shootings. So maybe you could make a slightly new title or adjust the current title as while the description does say that we can discuss the latest news I think many people will over look that and therefore post news in the general section like some people have already done.

Just a suggestion 😄

Should I just make a current event section? Media and Entertainment is really ment to discuss music, and other things dealing with news in the entertainment world.

Current Events sounds good, this can include anything from music, to news, to politics.
